Everything was get, except my tires has an awful rough ride. I wasn't asked what kind or band tires I wanted, only that I needed tires and the guys had my truck on the rack now, so do I want them changed and given a price of $67.00 each. With new tires this shouldn't be. I need to come back for tires fixed.

The person who checked me in was pleasant but I'm still upset. I'm upset because I asked do oil change comes with tire rotation. He said yes. I asked can someone take at a look at my front driver tire he said ok. But, if it need to be repaired I would have to leave it ok. When done. I asked about the tire. He said it's fine the tread low might want to think about a new tire. Ok. Its now 2 days later and when I get in the vehicle the same tire I asked about pressure is at 21. This let's me know my tire rotation wasn't done nor was the tire checked. This also makes me question was the tire rotation ever done especially since this is my 3rd time coming. I shouldn't have to hold anyone hand to do their job nor nag anyone about questions I ask concerning my vehicle. Very upset

Arrived Monday April 7th with damaged tire and rim. I was told they would have to order both. Rim arrived but not tire. Tire would have to come from Dallas. April 17th I arrived at 7:45, mentioned car pulling to right and if they were going to check the alignment. I was told probably because of small spare tire it was pulling to the right. I departed at 9:00, I noticed car was still pulling to the right I made a u-turn back to Best Chevy. I was than told I had steering problems and undercarriage damage, and would have to order the parts. I asked if I could still drive my car and was told it wouldn't be safe. I was very disappointed In Best Chevy service department not realizing the extent of the damage when I first came in on April 7th. So I drove a unsafe automobile for 10 days only driving side streets, not going on interstate because of the pulling to the right.

Tried to charge 11,000 dollars for a reduce enigine power which is really a manufacturer defect and recall problem But yet and still... they claimed not to have a tech for a week. I lost work over a simple computer issue that was suppose to be a simple fix but these animals only wanted to rape my pockets. Who in today's world in the lower parts of society, has eleven thousand just sitting around to randomly give a mechanic shop that's insane. I Bring my car regularly for inspection and they found no problems. The only thing happened is the key fob tripped up the computer. That's not the customer problem if the car is already prone to these kinds of breakdowns and you literally don't have to do anything for the issue to arise. That's my horrible experience with chevy's unqualified associates on veterans in kenner lousisana.

Pros: The cashier who greeted me was very nice and honest about the possible wait time for my scheduled service appointment, which was approximately 3 hours. Cons: The people who usually take care of appointments such as check you in, saw me walk-in, did not greet me or anything, but walked to the back for something which prompted the cashier to greet me and check me in. The lady came back from the back and stated “she is helping you” not very friendly- I get it, it may have been a rough day, but it cost nothing to be nice. At the end of my service approximately a little over three hours of waiting, I get a phone call letting me know that my vehicle was ready, compared to the other customers where someone came in and let them know their vehicle was ready, maybe it was time for the person to get off, but the same person over the phone was in the service building and stated “have a nice one” and called me by name. Small, but treat all customers the same.

I think the salesman, Andrew is great. He was actually the highlight of the experience. However, my total experience was horrible and I would never do business with this dealership ever again and I’ve already told someone that asked me about my purchase not to go there. First off, there were details told to me via text and verbal phone communication that was miscommunicated/untrue but that’s not even the worst part. The first day I came there, I was with my son. I came there for a 2023 Genesis. We drive 42 minutes from my city. This is when I was told the type of payment I would be expecting on the car and this was upsetting because I had literally talked to someone named Lakisha and expressed I didn’t want a note over $400 before I even drove down there. With this information, I was prepared to go home. That’s when the salesman brings in a more seasoned salesman, since my salesman has only been there a month. The seasoned salesman speaks on how the Genesis is a high maintenance car although I’ve owned one for the last few years and a Genesis was also what I was trading in. The seasoned salesman stated that there is a Chevrolet Trax that he could put me in with no money down with my trade in, although it would save just a little on the note. My exact words, while my son is sitting on my right, my salesman standing up, and the seasoned salesman seated behind the desk, was “I’m not going to like a Trax”. The seasoned salesman exact response was, “You’re going to like it and if you don’t you can come right back up here and get your Genesis”. My son and I would then wait for financing and we sat there a total of 5.5 hrs that day. This is the part where I was already furious. My son and I left and drove 42 minutes back home as we were exhausted and hot. I decided not to do the deal. I told my salesman and he understood. Mid ways home I realized I forgot my title and registration so I texted the salesman I’d be back to get it so please put it in a safe location. The next morning my phone is buzzing about the approval of the Trax and to come in and get it. I drove down to the dealership by myself this time. My wait this particular day was about a hour in a half but luckily not as long as the day before. The deal was done, I was shown the mechanics of the vehicle, and I drove it home. Made it home around 4:40 pm. By 8:30 I sent a text to my salesman, Andrew, letting him know I wanted my car back and needed to know my options. The next morning he responded asking what did I decide. I called the used sales manager, Chris, because this is who i was introduced to and spoke with on my first day there. I proceeded to tell him that I really wanted my car back and that I did not want to get into another vehicle. He stated that he completely understood and that he needed to speak with the season sales manager that I dealt with and then he would give me a call back and asked was my number displayed the best number to reach me. I confirmed it was. Two hours have passed by and I still had no word from him. In the middle of waiting for the phone call back. I’ll also text the seasoned salesman. After about three hours had passed the seasoned salesman called my phone and explained to me that the dealership does not take returns of vehicles. I was devastated because all I wanted was my car back. I felt my anxiety coming on at this point. The contract definitely states that There is not a remorse buyer cancellation policy with the dealership, but of course I did not read that when I was signing for financing and of course the finance manager did not point that out. I do know, however, that dealerships have the discretion to give a person’s vehicle back or to return a vehicle that the customer no longer wants. I also understand that a salesman will do what it takes to get a sale even if that means lying. So the situation is that the seasoned salesman knew the entire time when he told me that if I didn’t like the new vehicle I could get my Genesis back that it was not the truth. I still do not want the vehicle that I’m in and I expressed that this past Friday and a phone call that was received from the season salesman. He stated to send a copy of my car insurance in because certain car insurance companies have incentives that can be given towards a vehicle should I want another one to replace the one that I’m in. I have never heard of this before in my life, but since he has been a salesman for over 30 something years I trusted the fact that this was a possibility. I sent the copy of my insurance ID card over and receive a call back from him stating that due to the fact that it was a Saturday my insurance company could not be reached and that he will call me on Monday once he figures some things out from the insurance company. Now here it is Tuesday evening and it is at the end of business day for most companies and there has been no call. I truly believe that this was just to verify that I now had insurance on the vehicle so that the dealership is not responsible should anything have happened to the vehicle. This is not how you do customer service. Oh, and the reason that the seasoned salesman called me is because the use car sales manager did not want to make the call to me to give me the bad news that I could not get my car back is what I was told. I will never utilize this dealership again and I will never advise anyone else to do so as well. Andrew has great potential and I hope that he thrives wherever he decides to be even if it’s to remain there.

Overall my experience was very good even though I was anxious, angry and frustrated that the vehicle I just purchased had such extensive issues. NOTE: Truck was purchased from a GM dealership in Broussard LA. I appreciate the fact that Best Chevrolet service team (Josh, techs, and other staff) were methodical, thorough and thoughtful in making the rework repairs, then checking the results before handing off to me. As you mentioned, I hope I never have problems related to that issue for the life of the truck going forward. As explained, I understand the issue with the tailgate didnt resolve itself and that the service department ordered the parts necessary to address the lock/unlock failure to respond with the key fob. One other item I ask to be addressed is replacement of the backup assist camera on the tailgate as view/clarity is not good at all. The ladies at the service counter were friendly, easy to converse with, and we shared some laughs. They provided great information for ordering GM parts and receiving them with free shipping to Best Chevrolet. I apologize I can't think of the young man's name, but the week prior to truck being ready, I needed my tools and a key from the truck. This young man was so polite and helpful. He didn't have immediate access to the truck when I first arrived, but made sure to have them for me a few hours later when I returned and even loaded them in the loaner vehicle for me. He lightened my load spiritually that day as he was heading back in with "thank you sir and God bless you." His open faith really blessed me. Josh explaining the warranty and paymemt process helped ease my concerns. The only outcome I don't like is that the warranty company refused to reimburse the $115 3% card fee. That for me negates have a zero deductible. In closing, I will feel very confident in giving Best Chevrolet more business and a 5⭐ rating at the conclusion of addressing the tailgate and camera issues. Had an appointment but due to so many walk ins my appointment got pushed back. We make appointments for a reason. People who walk in should get a 2-3 hour window of oil being done. Service people should put pause on walk ins once an appointment comes through. It makes no sense for us busy people who makes appointment for a reason and no get serviced. Receptionist knew I was upset and puts me through an advisor which by rights should been service manager. To this day I never got call back since I called Thursday the 14th. Terrible service department will never go there for service.

My vehicle was towed to shop. I was called at the end of the week and advised I needed a new transmission and brakes. I went in person to get a print out of the total for repairs which I was quoted $8400 and mind you I was provided this total in writing. I thought about for a week and advised they could complete repairs. When I was called to let me know my vehicle was ready, I was quoted over $800 more. I was livid. When I advised of the print out they provided me but claimed they could not honor and when I asked for a manager, they claimed he was not available. I needed my vehicle and at this point they had my truck for over a month. After driving my truck for 3 days, the check engine light came on. I have never had such a horrible experience when getting repairs @ my normal shop in the area where I live. I only brought my truck to Best Chevrolet because I was visiting New Orleans over that weekend. And boy that was a huge mistake:(

I arrived at 830am and left at 445pm. Two hoses that are part of my cooling system along with both front and rear breaks were repaired. It wasn't until Rhonda Thommasie arrived, that she ensured the mechanic was progressing as he should. My service advisor communicated with me but it was all very vague responses making sure he didn't commit to anything. Almost like he was going to get in trouble if he made a commitment to me that could not be met. So I spent over 8hrs there. I'll never make the mistake of letting another service advisor assist me, other than June. She will be my only POC going forward, she has always displayed the communication to me in previous visits. I can't judge the service department based off this experience, because this has been the only time something like this has occurred.

Our salesman, financial manager and the man that explained the operation of our new vehicle, were very polite and helpful. The sales manager on the other hand was rude and very insulting. He commented that we were putting down money for the purchase of our vehicle which we financed through our CU “we would require you to put down money to get finance it with us”. He had no idea that we had requested the large down payments to reduces our notes. Also when we advised him that we were not paying what he was asking for he committed “can’t believe you will miss a deal for $250”, we responded you missing it for $250 why don’t you give in, he stormed out of the office speaking under his breath (very unprofessional). We finally finish making the deal with our salesman and never saw the sals manager again (we assumed, he was too embarrassed to face us and realized that if he would treat people nice we can come to an agreement we are all happy with).
